My Minted Gallery Wall

Okay, guys.  I was able to narrow down my favorite prints from Minted (believe me, it was super hard to commit!).  I knew I wanted a gallery style wall, but this time around I wanted one that one was not uniform like the one I had done in my living room.  I ended up selecting six prints at first, but after I placed all of them on the ground (to get an idea of the layout I wanted), I decided I still needed another picture to complete my look.

When I was going through all of the prints on Minted, I decided to start with a base print. I wanted this print to be the main focus and the one I would use to build the rest of my prints off of.  The base print I chose was The Meadow.  I loved all of the colors in this print and thought they would look great against my wall.  I ordered my print in 18×24 since I wanted my base print to be the largest.

Once I had my base print, I looked for other interesting prints that would coordinate well with my main print.  I ended up doing random sizes of the other prints I chose (you can see all of them below).  Like I said earlier, I had no plan for the design of my gallery wall; I just wanted it to be a bit random!

After I ordered for my prints, I swear they arrived at my house super quick!  I was so excited to see my prints sitting on my front porch.  I grabbed them and immediately opened them to see what they looked like in person.  Minted has (no joke!) the prettiest packaging you will ever see!!!  There was an adorable cotton bag, which housed a bunch of papers.  When I opened the little bag, I had a lovely packing slip (not your ordinary packing slip, that’s for sure!), a thank you note, swatches for their new upholstery line, and a bio on the artist for each print I had ordered.  I am telling you, all of the items included were so pretty!

Here is a closer look at the prints I included in my gallery wall. I was instantly obsessed with this print.  I loved how all of the colors worked together; some were bright and others were more subdued.  Not only did I love the the design and different shade of greens in the bottom print, but I was also drawn to its square shape.

When I saw the pear print, I knew it was a must-buy!  The color was perfect and who doesn’t love a pear, am I right?  I was also drawn to the stone print – the shading on this print is perfect! The sixth print I added to my gallery wall was the skyline. I mean, I live in Chicago and the color of this print went perfectly with my other prints! Score!

I wanted to add prints in different designs and colors.  I added the below prints since I am always drawn to flowers and foliage. The top print incorporated cool greens paired with the perfect blue hue.  The bottom print was more feminine and added a softer touch to my overall gallery wall.

You can see how all of my prints came together below.  I am super happy with the outcome.  I think all of the prints I chose work perfectly with my dark blue accent wall in my basement.  To see the full wall transformation, check out my bare wall here.
