Blitsy Thursay’s: 3 Ways to Use Pyramid Nailheads

Nailheads have become quite popular lately. You have probably seen them adorning bags, clothing, and many other accessories. I decided to jump on the fashion bandwagon by embellishing a pair of sunglasses with pyramid nailheads. Here’s the kicker though; my sunglasses are from the Dollar Store! So, in reality my sunglasses really only set me back about $4.00! These look like they could be a pair of designer sunglasses, but no one needs to know the truth. :)

Since fashion seems to be the most popular avenue for nailheads, I decided to try to think outside of the box. I wanted to come up with something that was not as popular or as obvious as fashion. Working around a ton of scrapbooking accessories, I figured since embellishments are so popular in the scrapbooking world, why couldn’t nailheads be used as embellishments?!? So, I went there. I REALLY love the way the edgy naiheads look like against a pretty delicate flower.
