Did you know you can make a four leaf clover out of hearts? Yep, it’s that easy! I made numerous pint-sized clovers to create my DIY Clover Bouquet for St. Patrick’s Day! I cut out a ton of mini hearts using my Cricut Explore Air 2. I laughed because my husband saw the negatives and said: “Man, that would have been a huge pain to cut out by hand!”. Ah, if I didn’t have my Cricut I would not have made this project!
I love how versatile this project is. You could pop this in cool thrifted container like I did, or a traditional vase. You could also make your clovers larger to create a wreath, or wrap the mini clovers napkins for simple napkin rings. The possibilities are endless!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Cut out 1/2 inch hearts using your Cricut Machine (you could also hand cut these). You will need 4 heart for each clover. After you cut out your hearts, fold them in half.
Next, cut your stems down. Do different lengths so you’ll have staggered heights.
Add hot glue to the bottom of one heart and glue another on top. Repeat this step with the other two hearts.
Then, add glue to the center and glue all four hearts together.
Finally, add glue to the bottom of the clover and glue it to the end of a floral wire.
Add your clovers to a vase for the perfect St. Patrick’s Day accessories that is maintenance free!
