DIY Bat Candle Holder

I have one more fun Halloween project for the season (nothing like waiting until the last minute to post this!).  This DIY bat candle holder is a fun twist on lighting up your mantle, shelf, or walkway this Halloween.  It’s also the perfect project for glass jar hoarders and those

I’m Back!

Well, Hello! It’s me, Meghan.  Remember me?  I used to post projects here on Happiness is Creating? I shared all of my wedding DIYs, showed you how to turn a toilet paper roll into a Crate and Barrel inspired mirror, and I did a Trader Joe’s bag challenge? Remember me???? I’m

DIY Stenciled Shopper

Being an employee at Blitsy, I get access to thousands of products. This is good AND bad. It’s good because I get to shop items that neither Michael’s nor Joann’s have (SCORE!), but it’s bad because all  I want to do is shop!!! Speaking of shopping, we recently ran these blank

Spring Jar Makeover

Hi! I’m still here! Sorry, I have been MIA. I have been SUPER busy with work, life, and house hunting. All very exciting stuff. :) So… I am sometimes a garbage collector. Well, not like I am picking garbage out of a dumpster (err…um….I have actually done that). Either way,

Look Who’s 1!

It’s hard to believe I started Happiness is Creating a year ago! Well, actually a year ago yesterday. I have had so much fun sharing my inspirations and projects with all of you. Since starting my blog, I have had other websites and blogs feature some of my popular projects. It is so

Fall Flowers

I have a vase on my dining room table that I try to keep some type of flower in, whether it’s fresh flowers, paper flowers, faux looking grass stuff, or festive red branches.  It’s the one decorative piece in my apartment that changes with the seasons. My vase currently houses my orange paper flowers.

{Porch Redo} Project:2 – Outdoor Candle Holders

Pretty much anything that involves spending money I always try and find the best deal (I love it when I find super deals!).  My porch redo is no exception. When I looked at my porch and all of the sprucing up I wanted to do, I knew I had to take a trip to the

CIY: Tribal/Friendship Bracelet

So, in order to get the look Madewell had going on with their bracelet, I decided to grab my trusty Trader Joe’s bag.  The handles were basically the perfect size, so I ripped those puppies right off so I could use them for my bracelet!  Instead of attempting the lovely pattern Madewell
