The Great Trader Joe’s Challenge: Time to Reuse That Brown Bag!

I shop at Trader Joe’s (aka TJ) about 85% of the time.   I have a TJ right by my office, so it is super convenient to pop on over during my lunch break to get last-minute dinner supplies, or a sweet treat if I am craving something unhealthy for lunch.  They always have the best sweet treats (I love their dried coconut strips!).

Since I find myself ending up at a TJ so often, I have started to accumulate quite the collection of paper shopping bags.  I feel bad throwing these away, so I collect them until  they start to take over my kitchen!  The last thing I want, is to be found buried in my apartment under Trader Joe’s bags, or show up on an episode of hoarders!  Yikes!

After looking at my stash of TJ bags, I have decided to take on the challenge of coming up with CIYs that use a TJ bag or two.   I already have some ideas up my sleeve of how to turn this bag into something cool and “green”.  We are still using that word, right?  I know it was hot a couple of years ago…..Either way, this is going to be TJ-tastic!
