Create your own holiday cards in a flash with these easy DIY quick stamped Christmas cards!

I am a huge procrastinator when it comes to all things holiday. I usually wait until the last minute for all of my shopping, which every year I swear I’m not going to do! However, with so much going on the time flies by and I find myself buying gifts the week before! Eek!

I also wait until the last minute to send out my holiday cards. I wait and wait and in the past I have ended up not sending out anything because the cards will arrive after Christmas, which I don’t want! I decided this year was going to be different. Instead of doing the whole picture card idea, I wanted to make my own. I didn’t want the cards to be too elaborate since I knew my time was limited. While searching through all of the holiday stamps at Rubberstamps.com, I came across a Christmas tree stamps and “Merry Christmas” stamps. To avoid multiple steps, I added 3 small trees and the sentiment to one acrylic block. Instead of doing green, red and gold, I swapped out the green for pink for a brighter, trendy look.

Since this card was so easy and quick to make (even with the extra embellishments!) I’m actually done with all of my holiday cards, which is a miracle! Check out the video below to see how you can make your own DIY quick stamped Christmas card!

Supplies:

Step 1: Cut your paper in half.

Step 2: Add a score line at 4.25″ then fold it in half.

Step 3: Add the “Merry Christmas” stamp to the bottom of the acrylic block. Then, add the three trees on top.

Step 4: Ink the stamps. Make sure you don’t get ink on the other stamps. If you do, simply take a baby wipe and wipe it clean.

Step 5: Place the stamp on the center of the card and press down.

Step 6: Cut a piece of baker’s twin 16″ long and tie it on the top left side of the card. Trim the ends.

Step 7: Add glue dots to the back of 3 sequins and adhere them to the card.

Now all you need to do is address your envelopes! You could also add some stamped trees to your envelopes for some festive flair!
