So, I decided that some sort of bow situation was happening with this dress redo.  Instead of reinventing the wheel, I decided to use something I already had.  Hello, CIY: bow tie!

Supplies: 

– Dress

– Bow tie tutorial

– Scissors

– Thread

– Straight pins

– Sewing needle

Follow the instructions from the CIY: Bow tie tutorial  until you get to the step where is says to tie a bow.  Once you get a long strip of fabric, cut it in half.  You will take each piece of fabric and tie a bow.  I cut the ends at an angle and used a lighter to melt the edges so the fabric did not fray.  Take each of your bows and pin them to the shoulders of your dress.  Sew each bow to your dress.  You are finished!
